The CMAS 2 stars level is a confirmed diver who can dive in binomial with another diver CMAS 2 stars until a 20 meters depth.

In continuing education 6-8 days after CMAS 1*

The formation of diver 2* is mainly bases on:

• TO USE ITS MATERIAL
• TECHNICAL BEHAVIORS AND EPIC ON THE SURFACE
• IMMERSIONS AND RETURN ON THE SURFACE
• CONTROL VENTILATION IN DIVING. Capacity to make an effort in immersion.
• REACTIONS TO THE USUAL SITUATIONS
  

- Communication
- Reaction to the breakdown of air; control of 2 technics
- Techniques of assistances to another plunger.
- Reaction to the breathlessness and any situation requiring an assistance or a rescue

Technical training:

• Control lung-ballast and of a perfect buoyancy
• Techniques of immersion (seal-duck)
• Maintenance of a level of immersion in full water, capacity has to hold a stage.
• Orientation with and without compass.

 AUTONOMY OF DIVING IN MEDIAN SPACE (Zone of the -20m)

Formal training:

• Causes, symptoms, prevention and action to be taken for the whole of the accidents which can occur within the framework of autonomy or remote space. (Zone of the 40m)

• Basic physiology

• Use of the tables of divings and Computers of diving

• Physical concepts allowing to include/understand the effects of the medium, the principles of operation of the material, autonomy in air, buoyancy

• Regulation concerning the protection of the medium

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Plunger CMAS 2* must have competences which enable him, when the whole of the sling load consists of major plungers CMAS 2* minimum, to evolve/move in an autonomous way in median space and of being able there to intervene. The divings are carried out under the ontrôle of a Director of Diving who chooses the site of it and into fixed the parameters.
Plunger CMAS 2* has also competences which enable him to evolve/move in the remote space framed by a plunger CMAS 3* at least.
